ife changed for me the day I realized that true security doesn't come from earthly achievements but from a deep, personal relationship with Jesus. I was born and grew up in a small town called Neyveli in South India. I had a great family with loving parents and siblings. Being the youngest, I experienced a lot of love from my family. However, despite having a wonderful family, I often felt lonely and anxious about my future.
I had heard about Jesus many times, but one day, my friends and I listened to a couple talking about Jesus and His crucifixion. Hearing about His sacrifice deeply moved me. I realized that He was real and that He was inviting me to become His disciple. That day, I decided to follow Jesus.
My life has had a lot of ups and downs since then. I studied hard and got into a prestigious engineering college, thinking my life was all set. I believed my future was secure with a good education that would lead to a good job and a bright future. One morning, my mother complained of chest pain, and by that evening, she had passed away from a massive heart attack. She had never been sick before, and her sudden death when I was 17 rocked my world. With my father’s health issues, I feared becoming an orphan.
My father and I moved to Canada to be with my sister. I had never worked a day in my life as my parents had provided for all my needs. In Canada, I had to work odd jobs and work through the summer to pay for my university fees during the rest of the year. During that challenging season, I experienced God personally. I depended on Him, and He came through as He promised.
I then moved to California and started working in the fast-paced technology sector. Through all the tough times and transitions, Jesus has been my friend and guide in my life and career. In all my entrepreneurial endeavors, He has been my senior business partner, and I have received miraculous guidance, support, and wisdom from Him. He has always been there for me through life's and business challenges. Jesus promised to never leave us nor forsake us, and He has kept that promise in my life.
I’ve come to realize again that all our successes and trophies don’t matter, as we all have to leave this earth one day, leaving everything behind.
Many of us have chosen to become disciples of Jesus. We read about His life and counsel in the Bible and strive to emulate His life. The more we try to live like Jesus, the more we realize how much there is to learn. Based on what Jesus has told us, we know we will see Him in heaven when our life on earth is done. We are one big family here on earth, and we believe we will all be together in heaven with Jesus.
Would you join us by deciding to follow Jesus?
